Started career with Mahindra & Mahindra in August, 1965 and retired as Dy. General Manager (Admin & Marketing) in July, 2002.

Thereafter was retained on contract with Mahindra & Mahindra (Automotive Sector) to look after Infrastructure Development of the Sector until 2005.

Was then transferred to Mahindra United Football Club in 2005 as Assistant Secretary.
Currently he is the Secretary of the Mahindra United Football Club Pvt. Ltd, a post held since 2007

• Instrumental in forming "Mumbai FC" a community based professional football team in Mumbai
• Launched 'JUNIOR CHAMPS' Tournament which entered the "Genius Book of Record" for a record 12000 kids participation in 16 locations in Mumbai
